Have you ever seen a sign like this? I, too, thought it was a humorous sign at first, but as our group goes out to share Jesus with others, it hit me that these individual may not understand just who Jesus is and what He has always asked us to do. They may have found Jesus but are they sharing Him? Perhaps they are in different ways.
We know that the “No Soliciting” means do not sell anything at a particular house, but it has also grown to mean much more. It means that they do not want to be bothered at any time. So we skip these houses and move on. I feel sad that they will miss out on the good news of Jesus’s coming again, VERY SOON, to save us all. Matthew 28: 18-20 states, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and ,lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” When we truly know Jesus, we become His disciples, and we should be reaching out and sharing Him with others. He has done what no one else can. He gave His life so that we may have everlasting life!! He deserves our worship and our praise, and we need to share this wonderful news to the world!
