Jesus said, “Come unto Me, all ye that Labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls” (Matt 11:28, 29).

This site is about meeting Jesus and getting to know Him. Jesus said, “Come unto Me, all ye that Labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls” (Matt 11:28, 29).
You may have heard this passage before but have you ever really thought about it. He says, “Take My yoke” which means He is already taking your burdens and sharing your load. He is right beside you no matter what you are going though. What about “learn of Me?” How can you place your trust and share your burdens if you do not know or trust what He says He will do for you?
Once you get to know Him, He says, “Ye shall find rest for your souls” and this is the most wonderful gift he gives us. He says, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27). This peace He gives is not a worldly peace it is internal and beyond description.
In Isaiah 53:5, it says this, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.” Did you catch that “the chastisement of our peace was upon Him.” Why? Because the peace He gives you is the peace of knowing that He has saved you and He is giving you eternal life. There is no need to worry because He not only saved you from your sins but also from death, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
The devil does not like that at all because you are taken out of his hands and right into the safekeeping hands of Jesus. Jesus says, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand” (John 10:29). The thing to remember is that no one can pluck you out of His hands but we certainly can make the decision to jump out of His hands. But why would you want to do that when you KNOW Jesus gives you eternal life upon choosing to accept what He has done for you. The peace you receive is an amazing (not a strong enough word) feeling. That is why the added “chastisement of OUR peace” was laid on His shoulders at the cross along with all of the sins of the world. I can’t imagine how He felt, the weight of not only the sin of those who are alive today, but the sins of those from the beginning of time to those in the future, too. Paul says, “For He (God) hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin: that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). We can embrace Jesus as our Savior.
In these pages you will learn of Him but more than that, our hope is that your faith and trust grows and you accept Him as the One who died in your place. He will cover you with His righteousness. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6). The only way to make it to heaven is through Jesus. He said in John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
The logo was created because JESUS said, “I am the Bread of Life; he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst” (John 6:35). The other verses that come to mind are these, Jesus says, “I am the Bread of Life” (John 6:48) and, “He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38)
So let’s go meet Him!
